Intimate Detroit River Wedding

Weddings are a beautiful thing to me. Whether they be big, or small, as long as the two people getting married have so much love for each other, nothing else seems to matter. But when you can feel the love from the guests, that just makes the day so much better. J & R had so much love for each other and so much love in their presence that I could clearly feel it. My job is to capture the love that is shared. Let's just say it was really easy with these two.

We started the day at one of my favorite spots in Detroit. Belle Isle is perfect for bridal pictures, not matter what your style is. On their day, the island was packed with family reunions and tourists interested in the sites. Despite the crowds, we were still able to capture beautiful pictures that I just can't stop looking at. We made a couple spots in between of some of my favorite views. The city is always changing which makes taking wedding pictures downtown interesting. I like that there are so many ways to capture love in this city. I love scouring the streets looking for interesting spots. This couple let me have full rein of their spots. 

Their ceremony was at a restaurant on the Detroit River. It was small and intimate but so very beautiful. They spent the rest of the evening on a boat that took them along the river. I did not get to experience that part, but I can only imagine how beautiful it was. That is such a special gift to let your guests enjoy. I hope you love their wedding as much as I did!!
