Classic Detroit Wedding

You’ll think me crazy but before two years ago, I had not been to Belle Isle in Detroit for probably two decades. It’s crazy.... trust me I know. My boyfriend and I have birthdays two days apart, but I am a year wiser! Two years ago, we celebrated our birthdays in Detroit, which was to start our tradition. We decided to drive around Belle Isle and I instantly became obsessed. I fell in love with the Belle Isle Casino and vowed to either have my own wedding there or shoot a wedding there!!

Adventurous Belle Isle Grad

A few of my grad sessions have been on Belle Isle. This session was different. Delaney and her other showed me their favorite spots. It’s not very often that I’m shown the spots on where to shoot. It was an awesome change! I strive to have all my grad sessions to be unique. They may be in the same spot, but show the personality of the grad... not the location. For this reason, I loved this grad session because personality and uniqueness were the main focus. I loved learning more about Delaney and her mom!!

Intimate Michigan Barn Wedding

I got the privilege to second shoot for this beautiful and fun couple's wedding late last year. The beautiful bride is a photographer herself, so it was a honor to be the one to help capture their day. It was great working with Angel Photography Studio to make their day stunning. The ceremony was held at Halo Barn, located on the property of Angel Photography Studio. Looking for an intimate barn to have your wedding at? Check out Halo Barn in Dundee, MI. You won't regret it!

Detroit Grad Session

Another Detroit grad session is in the books and I LOVE it! I love getting to know my grads during our sessions. I've known this guy since he was a little munchkin. It was fun to get to know him more as an almost adult. I would smile behind my camera throughout the session as he would do things that would remind me of each of his parents separately. I would also smile because there would be times that he looked just like the little boy that would run around the Christmas parties. Then he would shock me by looking like a big kid about to graduate high school! It's such a special honor to be apart of this special time of year. I absolutely love it because it was one of my fave years in high school. So many things are changing that are exciting and scary!!! But definitely a fun time of year :)
