My best friend had a baby!!!

I have known the lovely momma is this post for about 15 years. We met as super innocent 8th graders and have grown up together since. We've had some not so innocent times together, too many laughs, some tears, but no matter what, we've been there for each other from the start. It's been amazing to watch her family grow. This little newborn girl has two wonderful parents that love her so very much. This in home newborn session is one of my favorites. That blue accent wall made the perfect backdrop. And this little girl's nursery is the cutest thing ever!!!

The Champion is here!

It's always such a pleasure to be apart of your friends' lives. For them to ask you to capture a new and exciting part of their lives is such a honor. This couple is one of my favorites! From their Detroit maternity session to their in house newborn session, it's been wonderful to see their family grow. Our friendship circle has included pub trivia, vintage baseball, and a shared WMU vs CMU rivalry. This couple loves to laugh and I love to capture their love! Now it's your turn to take a look at this great little family from maternity to the arrival of their little champion!

Detroit Grad Session

Another Detroit grad session is in the books and I LOVE it! I love getting to know my grads during our sessions. I've known this guy since he was a little munchkin. It was fun to get to know him more as an almost adult. I would smile behind my camera throughout the session as he would do things that would remind me of each of his parents separately. I would also smile because there would be times that he looked just like the little boy that would run around the Christmas parties. Then he would shock me by looking like a big kid about to graduate high school! It's such a special honor to be apart of this special time of year. I absolutely love it because it was one of my fave years in high school. So many things are changing that are exciting and scary!!! But definitely a fun time of year :)
